Effective Public Speaking Training Workshop- Part 1

June 18, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+3

Public speaking

Yes, it’s true.

There IS research suggesting that people fear public speaking more than death.

In a 1973 study by R.H. Bruskin Associates, which surveyed Americans about their fears, public speaking ranked as the number one fear, even above death.

This led to the famous quote by comedian Jerry Seinfeld:

“Most people would rather be in the casket than giving the eulogy.”

Glossophobia (fear of public speaking) is extremely common, affecting up to 77% of people.

Public speaking can trigger immediate anxiety because it involves social judgment, potential embarrassment, and high stakes, all in real time.

But, it doesn’t have to.  Trigger anxiety, fear, embarrassment, and more, that is..

Join me to learn effective public speaking, both online and in-person.

Note: this workshop is  for UN staff (but if you’re not a UN staff and you’re interested in this workshop, reach out – let’s talk!)

You’ll have opportunities to practice and improve your public speaking skills.

Your comfort and confidence levels will increase and you’ll get easy tips and techniques to boost audience engagement.

You’ll have access 24/7 to a learning resource portal so you can continue to hone your skills long after the workshop is finished.
