Phew! It’s been (another) unusual year. No matter how you’re rolling into the holiday season (excited, energized, and invigorated, exhausted, overwhelmed, and weary, or somewhere in between the Life Lenses® and I have your back.
So pull up a chair, put up your feet and cast your mind both back to reflect on where you’ve come and forward, to where you want to go, while you’re in full-on holiday season.
This is a wee chance to reflect on where you’ve been and where you want to go. Where you’ve risen. Where there are reasons to celebrate and where there are times to pause and deliberate. And where there are times to jump in and go for it.
As we get ready to turn the page on another year’s calendar, take a few moments to yourself to reflect back on 2021 and then, with a deep breath, ahead to 2022. Think about the different world views and perspectives when you’re reflecting back and forward, the ones that we all bring to the table. And gather them ALL around, Life Lenses™ style, to expand your options and your choices. Bring on the expanded views. Bring on the freedom.

Stop and Go Life Lenses®
From the Stop Life Lens™ which values contemplation, reflection, pausing, and ruminating, I wish you time to pause and collect yourself and your thoughts. Spend some time journaling, doodling, meditating, or just plain thinking. And from its partner the Go Life Lens™, which emphasizes action, pressing on the gas and jumping into things, I wish you time to experiment, play, dive in, and take decisive action.

Mountain and Carrot Life Lenses®
Looking through the Mountain Life Lens™, which focuses on the big picture, strategy, and trends, I wish you time to lift your head up and look up and out to what’s ahead for you. Take a deep breath of that mountain air and look up and head.
And from its complement the Carrot Life Lens™, which adores details and focusing, take a moment to get real, and get specific about what you want and the details needed to achieve that.

Head and Heart Life Lenses®
From the Head Life Lens™ which honors facts, logic, and information, I wish you time to pull on learning, research, reading, and other resources to support you and your actions.
Then from the other side of the Head Life Lens™ continuum, the Heart Life Lens™, which honours intuition, instinct, and gut feelings, I wish you time to hone in on and listen to that little wise voice inside of you and what it’s telling you and where it’s pointing you.

Journey and Destination Life Lenses®
And finally, the Journey Life Lens™, which emphasizes process and the ‘how,’ I wish you the ability to focus on how you’ll achieve what you’re setting out to accomplish in 2022 and beyond.
And from Journey Life Len’s™ partner in crime, the Destination Life Lens™, which focuses on tasks and objectives, I wish you a clear, definite, defined list of goals.
Take a few minutes and look around from the different Life Lenses™ – especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed and a little (or a lot) harried these days. Better days are in view.
The Life Lenses™ and I wish you a balance of quiet, contemplative time over the holidays (however, wherever and whatever you celebrate) with enough adrenaline-fueling activity to get you energized and excited for the new year.
Bring on peace, inclusion, health, and learning.
