If you’re a member of the Learning and Development Roundtable you’ll know that we just celebrated ten years of hosting monthly Roundtables!

Yes, the Roundtable is a decade old.
In 2012, the year the Learning and Development Roundtable was founded, the Olympics were being held in London, Barack Obama was re-elected President of the U.S.A., it was the International Year of Cooperatives and Sustainable Energy for All and Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen had the most number of weeks as number one artist on the Billboard charts.
Insert happy dance here.
It was also the year I decided to gather people interested in learning, development, education, and professional development together to see if there was interest in creating a Roundtable.

Ten years of Learning and Development Roundtables later, I think it’s safe to say that there was and continues to be of interest!
And so I wanted to thank you.
Thank you for your interest and passion for learning.

Thank you for your hope that in this chaotic, upside-down world, things can get better and that learning plays a central role in that.
Beyond words of gratitude and our celebration at the last Learning and Development Roundtable, I offered people a chance to win my brand new “Ban Boring Online Meetings; A quick-start, step by step approach to making your online meetings engaging, appealing, and actually effective” online course. Lots of folks entered the contest and I picked ten people at random to win. Thanks so much to everyone who entered.

Voila! Here are the winners:
- Lara E.
- Ioannis C.
- Polina K.
